I just got back to good ole' Michigan LATE last night.... and I am more then happy.

Chicago is too god blessed hot, and with all that walking around, I was sweating like a hostage the entire time I was there.

Oh, and I vowed last night to NEVER fly United Airlines ever again. My flight was 45 minutes late to leave the gate. Mind you, they herded all of us on the plane on time, so we got to sit and sweat in a hot ass plane while we sat at the gate. Then once we started to taxi to the runway they called us back. Seems some moron loaded 4,000 pounds of mail TOO MUCH on the plane.

So in the end, a 40 minute flight took almost 4 hours. I could have driven there in that same amount of time.

Might I ask how the hell someone loads FOUR-THOUSAND pounds of extra mail without noticing it's too much?

yeah, but you gotta go around 90mph... and be careful of rush hour going in to Gary. with the contruction it's a stand still...

You might, but you'd be asking the same question that every single person on the flight asked.

And all the flight attendants would do to answer the question is throw more little packs of Savory Snacks at us.

Still, as long as the stand still is an air conditioned stand still my fat ass won't be soaked to the bone in sweat.

I'm actually glad that I ducked into an O'Hare handi-crapper and changed into shorts and a t-shirt before the flight. Had I still had a suit on I probably would have lost it.... then electrocuted everyone in a 5 row radius when the Sky Marshall tazered me and the sweat puddle picked up the electric current!

The Flight Attendants on this particular flight were 2 obviously gay guys and an Indian lady (India Indian, not American Indian) who had a super thick accent. The safety announcement was particularly funny since they chose to have the lady read the script while the 2 flamers demonstrated the seatbelts and such.
